Burgundy in Bryant Park

It’s always fun to go on vacation and dress up. And by that, I don’t mean you put on an A-line skirt and stilettos, but rather you wear nice, pulled together outfits that you might not wear at home all that often. When Carli and I travel to NYC we always try to fit in by dressing in warm scarves and on-trend footwear. But since we walked so much in New York comfort was also on my mind and that’s how this casual outfit came to be.

I got this burgundy sweater at Forever 21 for only $18.00! I strictly shop at Forever 21 online because that store is madness, so I always look through the pages and pages of clothes to find some hidden gems. Most of the time I aim to purchase pieces that are $30 or more just because I find that they are better quality. But for some reason, this sweater spoke to me and I’m so glad I picked it up because it fits flawlessly! I love this choker trend for fall too. It adds a bit of a feminine touch.

You guys already know how I feel about these Mules. I wore them the whole trip and they never let me down. Even though all the walking. Actually, as I’m writing this I realize I need to order a backup pair for whenever Target stops selling them.
