We are Britta & Carli Garsow- twins, content creators, and small business owners. We recently left our PD jobs in the beauty industry to focus on growing our luxury candle business, Dyad Candle, and launch our clean pet care brand, Clean Coats.
We are from Green Bay, WI but moved to Southern California 13 years ago and currently reside in Los Angeles, CA (and loving every minute).
We actually didn’t get into makeup until moving to LA, when we started watching YouTube videos on a regular basis. At the time we used all our extra money to try any new makeup launches that we could get our hands on, and realized it was a passion of ours. Eventually, we both started working in marketing for beauty brands and slowly transitioned into product development once we realized it was more in line with our strengths. We’ve worked hard the past few years launching several prestige brands and it is so rewarding to see products you put so much time and effort into on Sephora shelves.
Our content focuses mostly on simple, everyday makeup looks that still look elevated and put together. When it comes to clothing we definitely gravitate toward neutrals and classic styles (think crew cut t-shirts, bootcut jeans, etc) that are easy to pair so getting dressed is effortless. We try to put together timeless looks with affordable pieces that look luxury so you can look chic without breaking the bank.
