Target Beauty Box, Fall 2015

I got my hands on another Target Beauty Box. These babies are so hard to get. I was literally scrolling through the #TargetDoesItAgain hashtag on Instagram and saw that some others ordered their beauty box. I immediately opened my computer and purchased the beauty box (for $7) all in about 30 seconds. Late night online shopping addiction is a real thing.

One thing I don’t exactly love about the Target Beauty Box is that it lacks the element of surprise. When I get my Ipsy bag each month I have NO IDEA what kind of products I’m getting. Which is one reason why the Ipsy Unboxing videos are so much fun to do! Target tells you exactly what you’re getting. It’s still an amazing deal, considering I use all these products on the reg.

Here is what was in the Fall 2015 Target Beauty Box:

L’Oreal Voluminous Mascara, Original– This is one of those mascaras that you just keep coming back to, and will always have in your arsenal. The formula doesn’t bother my eyes, it’s very rich and dark, the wand gives you instant volume without clumping. Overall it’s a great mascara that I definitely recommend!

L’Oreal Paris Elnett Satin Hairspray I love the smell of this stuff. I sprayed a little on my head and smelled like fresh flowers for the rest of the day. The can and applicator is also great. It sprays out a nice even amount. However it’s VERY sticky, which makes me think that it will hold all day, but it’s just not for me. I’ve said this before but I’m super picky about hairspray. So maybe I’ll use this for a special event where I need my hairstyle to last all day!

L’Oreal Paris Advanced Haircare Total Repair 5 Restoring Shampoo– When it comes to shampoo Im not picky at all. Since I only wash my hair every other day I can’t really say I notice a difference between shampoos. I tend to stick to color safe shampoos, and repairing conditioners. If this stuff if really repairing my hair, then yay! If not, that’s ok too. It smells good.

L’Oreal Paris Advanced Haircare Smooth Intense Ultimate Straight Shampoo & Conditioner– Ok, just to preface this: My hair is already straight. It blowdries straight (not pin straight, but straight nonetheless), and it stays straight if I straighten it with a straightener (I know, say the word “straight” ONE MORE TIME right). So to me, this duo is kind of pointless. But I would like to know how you curly tops feel about it!

There was also a small sample of the L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Daily Re-Volumeizing Mositurizing Cream. I’m not really sure what this is supposed to do, but Im guessing it’s for anti aging. I’ll probably use it as a preventative method, but I don’t think I’ll be able to tell the difference in my skin, since I look like I’m 16.
