After a long hiatus, we’re back with another One Piece, Two Ways post! We honestly love doing these because we often buy the same pieces but we tend to style them in different ways. Carli has a more casual style and I like to find a way to elevate my looks (usually through cute shoes).
We both recently picked up with 90s Ultra High Rise Stright Jeans from Abercrombie. They come in a pretty light blue wash and the slits on the bottom add a unique element and make them flair out slightly. Note that we sized down to a 25 in these!
I decided to go for a more ‘date night’ appropriate look by pairing these jeans with a cute slouchy top from Zara and my new favorite leather mules. Funny story about these shoes- I had been eyeing them at & Other Stories for months. I noticed they were 50% off online so I went in the store to see if I could find them in my size. They only had the display pair left which happened to be my size! Since they price matched I was able to get them for $60! Such a steal because these are so well made and pretty. I also went with a bold orange-red lipstick.
Carli opted for a more laid-back look. She paired her jeans with The Forever Sneaker from Everlane. She’s been wearing these constantly since the material and color make them a little more elevated but they’re still ultra-comfortable. She went with a ribbed sweater from Zara that she got last season. She tied the 90s look together with a claw clip from Target!
