On Trend: Camel Coats

On Trend: Camel Coats | Twinspiration

Before our trip to NYC, I was on the hunt to find the perfect camel-colored coat. Camel is so on trend right now and I couldn’t be more on board. I feel like every few years I see it take over the fall and winter seasons and I always love it but I’ve never really bought anything in this neutral hue.

Recently, I really wanted a camel pea coat that I saw at H&M but living in LA means I would rarely get a chance to wear a heavy-duty coat. I knew I probably couldn’t even wear it on our trip since the weather was so warm. So I moved on from it and tried to find a lighter alternative. My co-worker walked into work one day in this perfect camel blazer/jacket hybrid and I knew I had to have it. She got it from Zara so I immediately went to the mall to pick it up. It was the perfect weight to wear on the trip and I know I’ll be rocking it all fall-long. For reference, I’d say this is a good coat if the weather is in the 60s-70s, I wouldn’t wear it if it got cooler than 60 degrees! On Trend: Camel Coats | TwinspirationI was so anxious to wear the coat, I wore it on our first full day of the trip. I paired it with my favorite high-waisted jeans, a belt with gold hardware, a soft, cotton white t-shirt and some flat black boots. All of these pieces are classic and are now staples in my wardrobe. I’ve been wearing the black booties non-stop and I am just in love with this t-shirt. I know it sounds silly to be so obsessed with a white t-shirt but this one has the most flattering cut (longer sleeves and a very feminine silhouette) and it’s 100% cotton! I know I’ll be ordering it in black soon.On Trend: Camel Coats | TwinspirationFYI – I couldn’t find my camel coat on Zara’s website but I didn’t even see it there when I bought it, so hopefully, it’s still in stock in stores! On Trend: Camel Coats | TwinspirationOn Trend: Camel Coats | TwinspirationJacket: Zara (not on their site anymore but I found it in store) | Jeans: Topshop | Boots: Topshop | White T-Shirt: J.Crew | Belt: Halogen | Bag: Rebecca Minkoff

The camel coat looks good! Haven’t worn something like this in a while.
    Will definitely consider it.

I’m from L.A. too and I crave wearing gorgeous winter-wear which usually doesn’t happen because of the temperature!

    Love,

I love camel as well, but I’m not sure if I can pull it off on my pale complexion

[…] a real winter. We know you’ve seen this Zara suede coat multiple times on the blog (here & here), but we really do wear it all the time! It’s so unique yet […]
