Nora Ephron by Twinspiration: https://twinspiration.co/nora-ephron/

Nora Ephron was born in New York City on May 19, 1941 to the famous screenwriting duo, Henry and Phoebe Ephron.

Ephron followed in her parents footsteps, and found success in writing the screenplay for Silkwood, in 1983. She made her directorial debut in 1992 with This Is My Life, which she co-wrote with her sister Delia.

Most of Ephron’s films follow a strong female lead (often played by the lovely Meg Ryan). Her writing has taken her films to a new level in the relm of romantic comedies. Ephron’s characters are relatable in their everyday struggles, and feelings. From the do’s and dont’s of online dating, to figuring out the blurred lines of the friend zone.

Here are three of her most famous films, that top our list of “go-to” lazy day movies. & they ALL pair well with a glass of wine (or two, or three…):

1) You’ve Go Mail

2) Sleepless in Seattle

3) When Harry Met Sally
