April is almost upon us and that means the start of festival season! Although we have never been festival goers (crowds give us serious anxiety TBH), we LOVE festival fashion. It seems that every millennial at Coachella dawns a pair of frayed denim shorts and some sort of lace adorned crop top. And that’s just one popular look among the crowd. There are so many cute styles and outfits that we associate with festival season. We tried to put together one of our own!

A black maxi skirt is a staple that everyone should own. Mine is high waisted so it pairs well with a crop top. But if I’m not feeling like baring my mid drift (when I eat a whole medium sized pizza) I can easily wear this with a baggy tee.

For this look I decided to wear my black maxi with a rust colored crop top, and I really love how these two items look together! These black strappy shoes fall into the mule category, with more of a chunky heel. Because of the heel they wear more like a wedge, which is infinite times more comfortable than a stilleto heel.
