Who doesn’t love a good smokey eye?! We do, but sometimes smokey eyes are so dark & smoldering that they are more appropriate for nighttime. We wanted to create a look that was great for the daytime!
Walmart sells everything we used for this look at such affordable prices. For this blushed smokey eye look, you will need…
- Maybelline The Falsies Push Up Drama Mascara
- Maybelline Eyestudio Brow Define + Fill Duo (view more Maybelline brow products here)
- Maybelline New York The Blushed Nudes Eyeshadow Palette
We suggest priming your eyelids before applying the base shadow. This eyeshadow is very pigmented, but it will stay on better with a primer. After you prime your lid, apply the above color all over your eyelid. (2nd from the left on the top row)
Next, use a crease brush and apply this dark brown color (all the way to the right on the top row). Apply in your crease using windshield wiper movements. You may need to do a few layers to get a deep crease color.
Finally, take some of the pretty maroon shade and apply it in the center of your eyelid. To make the color really pop, we suggest spraying your brush with some makeup setting spray before dipping it into the eyeshadow.
Next, apply this amazing mascara! This mascara is SO volumizing! Carli and I have long eyelashes to begin with so we usually look for volumizing mascaras more than lengthening options. However, this mascara does both!
Your eyelashes really will look like falsies after applying a few coats!
This brow pencil is so unique and cool. One end looks like a normal thin pencil and the other end is pictured below. It’s a little, tapered sponge that has brow powder coming out of it! First, use the pencil end to outline the bottom of your brows and fill in spots that look sparse. Next, use the powder end and just go over your entire brow. The powder comes out very slowly so you can’t really mess this part up!
Here is the completed look!
Want the false lash look without actually wearing false lashes?! Check out this mascara, seriously.
