DIY Pineapple Koozie

Summer is a comin’ people. The days are already getting longer and since we live in LA the weather is always somewhat summer like. One thing that sets summer apart from the rest is the beverage menu. To me, summer means ice cold beers and rosé. I’m not usually a huge beer drinker but summer is the exception.

If you’re like me then you’re going to need a cute koozie to hold your summer brew. We came up with this easy DIY koozie project that all you pineapple lovers will want to make ASAP.

You will need:

• A plain, white koozie
• Gold fabric paint
• A pineapple stencil (we got ours from etsy but the shop is no longer open)
• Flat-top stenciling sponge

Instructions:

Lay the koozie down on a flat surface. Center the stencil in the middle of the koozie, lightly dab gold paint using your sponge on top of the stencil. Don’t use too much paint, it’s better to use less and keep layering until the pineapple print looks opaque. Remove stencil and let dry overnight.
