Last week Carli and I traveled home to Green Bay, WI. While we were there we planned a day trip to DoorCounty with two of our friends. DoorCounty sits on the upper part of the peninsula, north of Green Bay. On the way to do some shopping in Fish Creek, we stopped at the most breathtaking state park, Cave Point.
Cave point was a huge part of our childhood. Growing up our dad would take us bike riding in DoorCounty almost every weekend in the summer. We would always stop at Cave Point at some point in the day to relax. The beauty of the natural rock formations and waves make you feel at peace instantly. Carli and I always say that it is the perfect spot for a proposal.
Driving up to Door County it was raining and the sky was cluttered with clouds. As soon as we pulled into CavePointCountyPark the sun broke through the clouds, and the rain had stopped. It turned out to be a beautiful day!
