Effortlessly Chic

Effortlessly chic might be an overused term in the blogosphere, but I couldn’t think of another way to describe this look. It consists of literally three pieces that on their own wouldn’t stand out in a crowd, but together they create a very classic look.

As you can probably tell the two colors Carli and I wear the most are gray and black, so this outfit is right up my alley. Since it’s still “Winter” in California I thought adding a coat to this strappy black dress would make the whole ensemble season appropriate. But I’ll probably rock the dress solo in approximately two weeks. Does anyone else think it gets weirdly hot in February around these parts?

I really can’t get enough of these shoes. I wore them on my birthday and made it through the whole night without taking them off. RECORD. My feet didn’t even hurt when I danced/rapped to “Ice, Ice Baby.”
