Go Bold With A Moto Jacket

About a month ago my boyfriend and I went to Portland, OR for our anniversary. It was so chilly there and made me want to buy all the cute scarves and jackets I could get my hands on. Since there is no sales tax in Oregon (such a dream) we decided to go to the local mall and our first stop was Forever 21. We all know that Forever 21 is inexpensive, which is great. But most of their items are pretty poorly made. But if you’re looking for something trendy and cheap it’s definitely the place to shop. As I get older I realize that I’d rather invest in pieces that I can wear for years to come. However, I do think there are some gems at Forever 21. And by gems I mean inexpensive, trendy pieces that are actually pretty well-made. And this rust-colored jacket is one of them.

I would have never grabbed for such a bold jacket since my everyday wear is usually a mix of black, white, and gray. But the minute I tried it on I knew I had to have it! This rust shade is so on-trend right now and I don’t know a better way to incorporate it than with a jacket.

For the rest of my outfit I went with my usual black, to really showcase the jacket. You may recognize these booties from Instagram. We’ve been raving about them to everyone we meet. They’re the best pair of shoes I’ve ever owned! So I try to wear them as much as possible.

For accessories I decided to wear some Alex & Ani bangles. My friend Grace recently turned me onto these and I’m obsessed. Yes I know I’m late to the party but better late than never!
