Strappy Summer Sandals

Banded one-strap sandals have blown up this Summer. Carli and I have been wanting to get our hands on a pair for months. We were looking for sandals that were classic, cute & comfy, so that we could wear them to work without making our feet go numb. About a month ago we saw a pair of strappy sandals on Forever 21 and added them to our carts in record time. The shoes are described as having a ‘modest heel,’ and I would totally agree. The heel adds a bit of femininity which I enjoy and I love the contrast between the leather and the “wooden” heel. The sandals were $30 which is a lot for Forever 21 but a STEAL compared to brands like Steve Madden.

We both have been wearing these sandals non-stop. They go with any outfit: A maxi skirt, distressed denim, or even flowy shorts. LITERALLY ANYTHING. We receive so many compliments on them and people are always shocked when we say we got them at Forever 21, and I don’t blame them. The quality is up there with H&M or Zara.

For this look I paired the sandals with my new favorite pair of denim from American Eagle. Carli and I have talked about how much we love their jeans. They fit us flawlessly which is shocking since we have super short legs and smaller waists. They’re pure magic in denim form. I also wore a plain black tank I got so long ago. I felt like the black tied in the shoes nicely.
