A couple weeks ago we were invited to attended the Culver Blogger Brunch at the beautiful Culver Hotel. The event was thrown by Press Pass LA which is one of the media outlets we host for. We were so excited to meet other bloggers in LA, and finally get a glimpse into this historic hotel.
Upon arrival we were welcomed with mimosas, which is definitely the best way to start a Sunday! We knew quiet a few attendees so it was nice to catch up with everyone.
The owner and designer of The Culver Hotel, Maya Mallick, gave a quick speech about her background and the hotel itself. Carli and I love history and beautiful old buildings, so this was a treat for us!
The food was served around noon and it was quite a spread, complete with prosciutto crostini and a persimmon fruit salad. We had never even heard of persimmon before this brunch and I can safely say it’s at the top of my favorite fruits list. At least I think it’s a fruit?
After brunch we were taken on a tour of the hotel. All of the rooms are so glamorous and unique. Maya explained that she frequents the Rose Bowl flea market and purchases as much as she can there, to make each room one of a kind. She found some amazing light fixtures and ornate chairs.
The rooms were all adorned with colored velvet and marble bathrooms.
SERIOUS HOME DECOR ENVY.
There was a station set up by Mammagard, and Larchmont Sanctuary Spa gave all the bloggers wonderful gift bags with hair care and gift cards to BeautyBalm Studio.
At the end of the brunch they did a few giveaways. Carli and I won a stay at the Pier South Resort in San Diego! Yasssss!
It was such a fun morning and we felt so inspired by all the other bloggers and the awesome things they’re doing. The brunch also really put us in the Christmas spirit, seeing the stunning holiday decorations that adorned the hotel.
Have any of you been to the Culver Hotel?
