I feel like every year Christmas starts earlier and earlier. Not the actual holiday because we all know that’s not until December 25th, but the celebration of Christmas. Decorating for Christmas, watching Christmas movies, making Christmas cookies, etc. I’m not mad about the fact that we can apparently start mentally and physically preparing for Christmas in early November, but I AM confused. What about Thanksgiving? As a child when asked my favorite holiday I would shout Christmas at the top of my lungs. Now as a “young adult” I would probably say my favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. It’s always filled with food, family, and friends. Three of my favorite things! No pressure to buy the perfect gift. You just show up and celebrate all the things you’re thankful for.
Before I really go on a rant I’ll get back to my point. Christmas has taken over HomeGoods. I was expecting to see some Fall themed decor. Lots of golds and copper. NOPE. HomeGoods has been transformed into what I can only imagine the North Pole looks like. There was even a giant Santa (in my state of shock I was unable to take a picture). So read on if you want to see what Christmas decorations to buy this year! Even if you don’t I still think you should read on….
Let’s see what we found at the HomeGoods in Solana Beach, CA in November 2015:Â
• SEASONAL ITEMS {Winter/Christmas} •
• HOME DECOR PIECES & ACCENTS •
Obsessed with these gold and white hangers!
I think this is the same scent as ‘Home Sweet Home’ by Yankee Candle. Only $12!
These look JUST like the ones at Target but these ones felt sturdier! Sorry for the blur…
• WALL ART | Starting at $9.99 •
There was so much cute wall art on clearance!
• FURNITURE •
• FOOD •
Hot chocolate supplies!
• MY PURCHASES •
The same candle I bought last month! I had to dig for this one.
