Mimosa Floats
Most millennials would agree that the best part about Sunday brunch is the unlimited mimosas. There’s just something about sipping the champagne mixture that steers the rest of the day in the right direction. But what if we could take mimosas to the next level? Insert, Mimosa floats.
Fun fact: Cari and I were obsessed with orange sherbert as kids. I mean most kids love ice cream and don’t really have time for sherbert, but for some reason, it was always our first choice. So clearly sherbert is a nostalgic food for us, and when we came up with our Mimosa float idea we couldn’t wait to head to the store for some sherbert. Isn’t it so strange how many memories are tied to food? At least for us! I still remember what my childhood birthday cakes tasted like, and don’t get me started on Gushers (but like I sometimes still buy those).
We were thrilled to find out that these Mimosa floats not only look nice, but they taste delicious! The sweetness of the sherbert helps cut through the champagne and creates a nice dessert-like drink. We think these floats would be perfect for a bridal shower or birthday party!
