Ogee Sculpted Face Sticks Review + Swatches

Ogee Sculpted Face Sticks Review + Swatches | Twinspiration

Ogee is a clean, certified organic beauty brand that recently sent us some of their products to try. The product we were most excited about were their sculpted face sticks. They offer an assortment of blush, bronzer, and highlight shades in gorgeous white and gold packaging, with a magnetic cap. We’re suckers for luxurious packaging!

Thankfully the formula was just as beautiful as its packaging. We mainly use the blush, Rose Quartz, which is a flattering rose hue. I like to dip my small stippling brush into the bullet and then apply to my cheeks in circular motions. I wouldn’t recommend applying this directly to your face because the pigment packs a punch! I do think this formula is easy to work with though because it blends out effortlessly. I find that it has a sheen like finish without being overly dewy. These actually remind me a lot of the ILIA Multisticks.

Rose Quartz

We received two bronzer shades, Copper and Amber. Amber has quite a bit of shimmer that comes through so I couldn’t really use it as a bronzer, although I think it would make a gorgeous highlighter on deeper skin tones. Upon first glance, I thought Copper would be too dark for me but to my surprise, I was able to make this work well for my complexion. I feel like the bronzer is a tad less pigmented than the blush so I was able to build this up without over-applying.

Copper

I had to compare Copper to my beloved Tarte SEA Breezy Cream Bronzer since that is also a clean formula. I prefer the shade Seychelles of the Tarte Bronzer because I love to look bronzed, but I do think the Ogee formula is more user friendly. If I’m not careful I can over apply the Tarte bronzer.

Overall I think this is a wonderful product! The formula is so easy to use and the packaging is gorgeous. I would love to see them come out with a matte cream bronzer, without any pearl. I also cant wait to see what their blush range becomes.
