Now, I’m one of those people that goes through my closet once every couple months because I hate holding onto things that don’t serve a purpose. But I kept the dress through all of those cleaning sprees in hopes that someday I could make it work. Enter, belt. The double buckle belt trend has been around for awhile now but has only expanded into ALL price points recently. I knew that a belt would help turn my potato sack into a cute dress so I wanted to invest in one that would really make a statement. I opted for one from ASOS that caught my eye while perusing the web one day.

As soon as I tried the dress on with the belt it was instantly transformed and this has since become one of my favorite outfits. Obviously, I had to pair the dress with my all-time favorite booties, making this a true modern western outfit.
