Walmart Beauty Box | Summer 2015

I only recently discovered the Walmart Beauty Box. At first I was all “Whatttt, Walmart has a beauty box?!” but then I was all like “Duh Britta, why wouldn’t they.” Box subscriptions are like the THING right now (what that means, no one knows). Birchbox, ipsy, Glossybox, Target beauty, etc. The list goes on and on. Now box subscriptions aren’t limited to beauty products. You can virtually get anything mailed to you on a monthly basis. Oh how I love these modern days we are livin’ in.

So when I read that the Walmart Beauty Box contained samples (some full size) of new or popular drugstore products for only FIVE DOLLARS, I was sold. The box is available four times a year (seasonally), so this is the SUMMER box (probably the best one, just sayin’).

You really have nothing to lose by getting this box. You’re bound to like at least one thing, and five dollars is like the price of NOTHING these days (especially in California).

So without further ado, here are the content of my Summer 2015 Walmart Beauty Box!

Simple Cleansing Micellar Water • Full Size is $5.97

I’ve used this stuff prior to receiving the box and I love it! Simple is a very gentle skin care line and this micellar water acts as a makeup remover. I love that it doesn’t leave your face oily like most makeup removers. The box also comes with a $2 off coupon for the full size, which I will definitely be using!

Neutrogena Healthy Skin Boosters Cleanser • Full Size is $7.25

I am in LOVE with the face wash! I always use Neutrogena products for my face so I knew I would like it. However is very different from their other products. I feel like the consistency is very thick but it foams FAST, which makes it gentle on your skin. It’s supposed to remove dull surface skin and even skin tone. I only used it for three days and definitely noticed an improvement in the vibrance of my skin. Go buy this!

Aveeno Active Naturals Protect + Hydrate Lotion, Sunscreen • Full Size is $6.79

I don’t really use sunscreen (oops), but if I ever do I’ll definitely reach for this since I’ve heard good things about Aveeno products. The box also comes with a $2 off coupon if I want to get the full size!

FULL SIZE ALERT! Vaseline Radiance Restore Healing Serum • Full Size is $7.97

I had high hopes for this stuff. I currently use the Jergens Ultra Healing lotion and I assumed this would be similar. It’s not. It has a kind of greasy feeling when you first put it on and then it kind of turns into a powder dry feel. It also didn’t feel like it really soaked into my skin like the Jergens lotion does. So maybe this would be better suited for someone with less dry skin. Let me know what you guys think!

I usually don’t wear lip gloss I do really like this product! It’s very pigmented and not too sticky. I’ll probably reach for it for a night out.

One Direction Perfume, You and I • Full Size is $41.31 (on Amazon)

I actually LOVE this perfume. I was skeptical because I’m very picky about perfume but it has a nice clean scent with tones of fruit. Perfect for everyday use!
