Stylish & Casual Summer Work Outfit Idea

You may be thinking to yourself “I’m pretty sure Carli has worn that blouse on the blog before” – and you’re right. I showed off this perfect shirt in this blog post here in a beautiful rusty orange hue, then I proceeded to buy it in another shade. I could not help myself.

I first saw one of my favorite bloggers Kathleen Barnes (of Carrie Bradshaw Lied) wearing the sage striped version of this shirt on her Instagram and I immediately ordered it. In the few months that I had owned the orange version of this pillow-sleeved blouse, I had received so many compliments. And every time I told the aforementioned compliment giver the top was from Target, they were honestly shocked. I’m still shocked. The quality is so good and the cut is so trendy, yet flattering.I can see myself wearing this top with jean shorts and crisp white sneakers when the weather warms up but for now, I decided to pair with black jeans for a perfect office outfit. Black jeans can really dress up any blouse but these kick crop jeans from Everlane are more fun than fancy with the added flare and raw hem detailing. The whole outfit is perfect for the office during the summer (unless your office has no AC!).For Sothern California, I’m thinking I can swap the sandals for black boots and this would be a great office outfit for the fall as well.
