Fall Staple: Suede Shift Dress

I’ve honestly never been much of a dress person. I love them on other people but I find that most of them hit my legs at a weird length. If you’re horizontally challenged like I am (read short), you can probably relate. But with the weather here in LA being so up and down, I wanted to try to incorporate dresses more in my wardrobe. I LOVE this olive suede shift dress I recently got from Z supply (follow their Instagram for more style inspo).

I can wear this dress with my new favorite booties during the day and throw on a leather jacket when it gets chilly at night. The leather jacket gives the dress an edgier look which I’m all about. Speaking of leather jackets, I’m looking to invest in one if anyone has some recommendations on semi-affordable real leather jackets! The one I’m wearing here is a faux leather jacket I got from H&M a few years ago.

With most of my wardrobe consisting of gray & black, I’m super happy I got this olive dress. The color is so stunning, I definitely want to pick up some more olive pieces!
