When we first started getting into makeup eyeshadow palettes were so intimidating to us. We basically wore MAC’s Woodwinked 24/7 and didn’t stray too often.

In recent years it seems like the makeup industry has grown an insane amount, and with it has our love of makeup. We first started experimenting with lip colors, trying out bold & vampy shades. Then we discovered pan shadows and it was all over from there. Customizing your own Z Palette is so much fun. You can mix YOUR favorite shades together and create stunning combos. Pan shadows are also super affordable!

Around the same time we started experimenting with shadows we started researching eyeshadow palettes. We wanted to see which ones were worth the splurge and if there were ANY good quality palettes at the drugstore.

We really enjoy the Covergirl TruNaked Palettes and the Milani Everyday Eyes Palettes but aside from those most of our favorite eyeshadow palettes are on the higher end. We used to think these palettes were so overpriced but when you break it down by the number of shades you’re getting they’re actually priced pretty fairly! Remember, you don’t have to buy them all at once. We’ll usually purchase a new palette every few months to keep our makeup budgets in tact.

Eyeshadow palettes really take the work out of creating eye looks. During the week it seems like we’re constantly in a rush to get to work and it’s nice to have all of your coordinating shadows in one place.
