Spring Nude Tones

I’ve been seeing nude tones pop up everywhere recently. Normally, I love darker, muted tones like taupes and grays, but this spring I’m really into the rosy nude trend that’s happening in the fashion world. Britta and I both saw these tan heels at Target and immediately purchased them. I know I’m going to be wearing them everywhere this spring and summer. At first, I was thrown off by the color since it was so close to my skin tone. But hey, monochromatic is in right?!

I’ve been pairing these nude heels with darker jeans since I love a good contrast. For this particular outfit, I decided to up the contrast by adding a light top that is almost the same color as the shoes. I love this look! It’s perfect for work or a casual happy hour. I also borrowed Britta’s new purse this day and I wanted to steal it. What a good Nordstrom Rack find!

I think this top would go really well with a choker, but sadly I don’t own any. I love the choker trend but it takes a lot for me to wear jewelry (besides the two delicate rings I own). Anyone else not really a jewelry-wearing person?! Maybe this will change as I get older.

I definitely want to buy more clothes in this nude shade for spring! If you know of any cute pieces, let me know!
