October was such a great month for us! We took a weekend trip to NYC and did so much more you can read about in our recap post here. You’d think since the month was so busy, we haven’t had time to try out new makeup or skincare. Wrong. We’re those people that always seem to buy new makeup before trips. Two things I bought before the trip was a lightweight foundation I could apply quickly with my hands and a deep red lip because NYC in the fall calls for a red lip. Both of my finds made it into my favorites this month, just watch the video to find out what they were!
Britta also found some great skincare products in October. It’s finally cooling down in LA so we’re in the midst of changing up our skincare routines to accommodate the weather. I’m sure we will have even more skincare favorites to tell you about next month!
Overall, we’ve been very into natural skin + bold lips combo. I think it’s my favorite type of look and I’m sure I’ll continue to opt for that look all the way through winter.
