The Coconato Wedding

Our good friend and former roommate Michelle married the man of her dreams this month! We hadn’t seen her since we moved out last year (shame on us) so it was a day full of emotions for us. We were so thrilled to be able to celebrate her special day with her, and the venue was stunning. They got married at the Odyssey and it had picturesque views and old architecture. We sat at table 11 with some of her co-workers and as a group, we owned the dance floor. It was such a fun night!

Flordia Trip

My boyfriend Tommy and I went on vacation with his family to Club Med in Port St. Lucie, FL. I hadn’t been to Florida since high school and it was nice to see a different part of the sunshine state. Club Med was incredible. It’s an all inclusive resort which obviously is code for a good time. Honestly, I was more excited about the endless food options than the free drinks. It was awesome to meet more of his family and spend some quality time together. We even tried paddleboarding for the first time, and though we never actually stood up it was still a fun experience!

Sephora Grand Opening

We were invited to the Sephora Grand Opening Party at the newly remodeled Westfield Culver City and of course, we accepted immediately. We had never really been to a store’s grand opening so we had no idea what to expect. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a red carpet and fancy drinks. There were so many friendly employees that eagerly gave us their recommendations and guided us in the right direction. This new location even has a Fragrance IQ machine that literally spurts out different perfume scents. And of course, we both couldn’t leave without the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance palette.

Catalina Trip

We ended the month with an amazing trip to Catalina Island. We went with a group of about 16 people to celebrate three different birthdays. The four of us (or Table 22 as we like to call ourselves) reserved an Air BnB with our good friend Grace and her boyfriend Morgan. It was such a nice place with views of the town. We made the most of our weekend there and rented golf carts to drive up into the hills, went on a two-hour boat trip, and tried out some new restaurants. I can without a doubt say Catalina is like no place else I’ve ever been and it’s truly stunning. Definitely worth all the motion sickness. Full recap coming soon!

We definitely spent Memorial Day weekend relaxing after all of this commotion. We hope you had an amazing month!

 xx, Britta
