The Fall Staple Every Girl Should Have In Their Closet

If you can’t tell, Britta and I are pretty short. I’m 5′ 3″ to be exact. Because of my height challenges, it is nearly impossible to find rompers and jumpsuits that fit correctly. They are almost always too long and fit awkwardly in the torso section. But, I have found luck with rompers in the past, and was determined to find the same luck eventually with jumpsuits. And you guys – I found a jumpsuit that works for me! It’s this unique deep blue jumpsuit from Olive + Pepper. It’s a retro-style jumpsuit with cropped legs and normally, that “cropped” fit would end up being normal on me, but not this time!I love the cropped fit paired with the plunging neckline and a sort of menswear-inspired style. I also love the random red and white pattern on the deep blue ‘suit. I don’t own anything like it and I’m so happy it’s apart of my closet now. Even if you don’t get this specific jumpsuit, I think jumpsuits are the best piece of clothing you can have come fall. While the weather cools down a little during the fall (at least here in LA), it’s still too warm to wear a jacket and long pants. A jumpsuit with a short-sleeved top half is just perfect for the summer to fall transition period. Now I am on the hunt for more jumpsuits as I am HOOKED.I wanted to keep my accessories simple like usual so I paired this romper with my favorite brown mules and gold hoop earrings. I wanted to show off the collar on the jumpsuit so decided to put my hair up and throw on a red lip.
