Cranberry Eyeshadow Tutorial

Cranberry Eyeshadow Tutorial

Up until recently, I’ve been in no mood to do eyeshadow. I’ve been enjoying putting on my base makeup and mascara and lip and all that fun stuff but had no patience for doing any kind of eye look. It can just be so time-consuming and it normally doesn’t add to my overall happiness with my look. However, with Thanksgiving coming up, I really wanted to attempt a cranberry eyeshadow tutorial. Little color wheel class right now, red and green are across from each other on the color wheel making them complementary colors. Since I have green eyes, I’ve always thought doing a red-based eye look would really make them pop. Spoiler alert…I was right!

This eye/lip combo would be perfect for Thanksgiving tomorrow. I know it’s a bit dramatic but I paired it with a sheer foundation and bushy brows which I think helped ground the bold eye/lip combo.

Watch the video to see what two palettes I used to create the look. They’re two of my favorites and both would be perfect gits to give the makeup lover in your life this Christmas!

The eyeshadow color looks so lovely on your eyes! I personally prefer red/copper colors myself as well, as I feel that it suits everybody. Love your blog!
