Cool-toned Winter Wear

For New Year’s Eve, I wanted to try something different with my makeup, so I used the Dark Magic Palette from Morphe x Jackyln Hill to create the prettiest silver smokey eye. I really enjoyed how the look turned out but I’m not used to wearing cool toned eye makeup, so at first, I thought it would be a challenge to find an outfit for dinner.

As I was looking through my closet I knew I didn’t want to go too casual or too fancy. Something in between, nice and put together without looking uncomfortable. I have this taupe top from Zara that is fairly casual but the ribbed texture makes it look more put together. I paired this with my faux leather pants (also from Zara) and a lightweight black blazer. To be honest, it was freezing on NYE and I wish I had worn a heavier coat but for this outfit, the blazer works just as well.

I accessorize I decided to wear my favorite gold necklaces. The crescent moon one is from Etsy and you guys I know I wear it all the time. The bee necklace, however, is new to my collection. My boyfriend gave it to me for Christmas and it’s from & Other Stories, my favorite store to buy jewelry because it’s both affordable and nickel-tested.

To no surprise, I finished off the outfit with my trusty black mules from Target. I can’t wear these things enough!
