Being Products Review | Twinspiration

Being is a new beauty brand at Ulta that describes themselves as “ballsy beauty” which we love! They specialize in body care products that have a range of unique scents and come in the cutest packaging!

We’re partnering with Being on this post to introduce you to their awesome products! Before we get into each product review we wanted to reiterate that Being IS available at Ulta, in stores! Ulta has so many brands online but its rare for a new brand to find a spot on their shelves. The display is actually quite large and divided by scent so it’s really easy to find what you’re looking for!

Ok, now let’s talk about the products!

Salted Caramel & Macadamia Beauty Bag

This makeup bag is perfect for makeup or body care products! It’s a medium-sized bag that would be great for a weekend getaway. The material is almost vinyl-like so it seems like it would be easy to clean as well.

Salted Caramel & Macadamia Body Butter

This could be our favorite product of the bunch! First of all, it smells incredible! We tend to gravitate towards things that smell like baked goods, for obvious reasons. We’ve tried a lot of body butter (we tend to use them over body lotion) and this one is the creamiest we’ve ever used! It looks quite thick in the jar but when you get it in your hands it spreads across the body very evenly and effortless. It feels super moisturizing on the skin and a little goes a long way. Love this stuff! Will definitely be repurchasing.

Cloudberry & Lychee Blossom Body Mist

Body mists are a great alternative to perfume due to their low cost and that fact that they’re usually portable. This body mist is the perfect size to toss in your purse. Because of the berries on the packaging, we assumed this mist would smell like berries but it’s actually a more sophisticated scent. It smells very fresh and clean. The scent is quite strong and lasted for most of the day! One thing we did want to mention is that there seems to be a high alcohol content in this product so if you have sensitive skin make sure to spray this onto clothes and not directly on your skin!

Salted Caramel & Macadamia Body Scrub

Much like the body butter, we loved this stuff. Every other body scrub we have tried before this has been pretty dry, meaning the exfoliating particles are generally coated with a little bit of oil and that’s it. Those types of scrubs tend to be very effective but a little too harsh for our dry, sensitive skin. This scrub is a combo of macadamia powder (we’re assuming it’s just finely milled macadamia nuts) mixed with a body butter like substance. This combo truly makes your skin feel so smooth and soft after use – it’s incredible! We will never go back to those drier body scrubs ever again. Oh and bonus – the smell is amazing!

Chili Mango & Tonka Bean Shower Burst

To be honest we were quite confused at what a “shower burst” was when we first saw this product. It’s basically a shower gel/shaving cream hybrid, in our opinion. The burst comes in the scent. The second you squirt the foam into your hand it fills the whole shower with a pleasant aroma. This scent specifically is very mango heavy, so if you like fruity scents you’ll love this! We used this product as a shaving cream and it works wonderfully because we could that it’s 10x more moisturizing than your standard shaving creams.

Overall we really enjoyed these products and this brand! We love that they’ve used scents and branding to help them stand out among other brands of their nature. And their products are SO affordable but perform like high-end products. We want to try the hand cream next!

Have you tried anything from Being?!
